Presents: 4th Annual Chili Cook-off

Where: Three Oaks Community Park

When: 8 Am Registration; 9-4PM Cook-off and Activities

Chili Cook-off Rules

1. Each Team is made up of five members.
2. Entry Fee is $25.00 per team.
3. Contestants will supply all of their own ingredients, utensils, and heat source (propane stove or propane B-B-Q) for preparation and a fire extinguisher. No electric service will be available. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
4. A minimum of 3 gallons of chili is to be made.
5. All cooking will occur on site, any vegetables may be cleaned and prepped (chopped or cut) ahead of time.
6. Setup of your booth/station may start at 8am but food preparation may not start before 9am on the day of the event, you may develop a theme to decorate your booth. There will be a "Cooks" Parade about 1 pm. 
7. Estero Key Club will provide a table, bowls, napkins, spoons and crackers for all contestants.
8. Estero High Key Club will be selling cornbread and soda and hotdogs.
9. Contestants are forbidden from selling any other food or nonfood items during the event.
10. Each contestant will supply (1) 5 oz. Bowl of chili for the "judges" to taste.  The bowls will be numbered and passed out for the judge to sample. 
11. Sampling of chili will occur at noon. Announcement of winner at 3 pm.
12. The event will be open to the public from noon until 4 pm.
13. Live entertainment will be provided from noon to 4 pm.
14. The decision of the judges is final.
